description

The LEVANTE SUPER FINESSE spinning rod is designed for technical long-distance finesse fishing. It excels at working small hardbaits, subtly shaking light rigs, and pinpoint presentations of insect-style lures.

Despite its light action, the midsection is engineered with higher tension characteristics, enabling advanced finesse angling and technical control of small and light lures. X-Graphite engineering provides smooth load transition, delivering a deep and intuitive bend to keep small trebles pinned and cast small lures with confidence.

Refined to target clever, pressured fish under tough conditions, the SUPER FINESSE is built for professional-level finesse techniques and small hardbaits like the KARASHI, BABY POPX, and SIGLETT.

Details

LEVANTE’s proprietary high-density
layered graphite construction focuses on material efficiency and action consistency. By
reducing excess resin and optimizing layer patterning for each model, the blank delivers
improved balance and recovery while maintaining the durability required for daily use.
The result is a responsive yet stable feel that enhances casting precision and lure
control without sacrificing forgiveness.

Matched to each rod’s taper and intended application,
Megabass’s original guide layout prioritizes smooth energy transfer and feel. This
system supports LEVANTE’s strong casting performance and controlled load distribution,
allowing anglers to cover water efficiently while maintaining accuracy and feel.

Precision-machined from solid aluminum, this lightweight hood provides secure reel mounting and consistent rigidity while contributing to overall balance and durability.

LEVANTE incorporates ITO-designed ergonomic reel seats developed to support natural hand positioning and intuitive control. Minimalist contact surfaces reduce unnecessary material while preserving stability, comfort, and sensitivity across both casting and spinning applications.

Built for power fishing, the sculpted design and long trigger provide overwhelming grip for big bait and heavy cover applications. Whether one or two-finger casting or utilizing a full-palm retrieve, ITS is designed to accommodate various grip styles with confidence.

The fast-back design of the reel seat bridge fits deep in the palm of the hand, providing increased contact points to improve feel and control in spinning applications. The IES’s sweeping, tapered fore-grip allows direct contact with the exposed blank, enhancing the kind of delicate bite-detection that is required in deep finesse fishing.

MAGDRAFT HEAD: Expanding the Range of a Legendary Action

Where MAGDRAFT Excels The rigged MAGDRAFT is built around three features. The patented Mag-Hold system, category-defining action, a hookup percentage that held up across seasons, forage types, and bass species. It was built for shallow water, and inside that zone it has no equal. Bassmaster pro Kenta Kimura has fished the MAGDRAFT on two continents, […]

DESTROYER EVOLUZION Takes the Third of Design’s Major Awards

Outside the Conversation The world’s major design awards were built around architecture, mobility, consumer electronics, and medical equipment. Fishing tackle was never part of that conversation. Rods were judged by anglers, in the field, on terms the design world had no reason to examine. That changed in 2022, when the DESTROYER and COOKAI series became […]

Fishing the Okashira Screwhead Hair Jig: Dialing in the Drop

Replacing Urgency with Confidence In highly pressured fisheries, fish have become conditioned to speed. Fast-falling jig heads, aggressive retrieves, and predictable flash have become the norm. Often, that speed results in more follows and fewer commitments. For Arkansas guide and fly tier Daniel Roberts, the answer isn’t adding more action. It is removing it. By […]

Out for a Stroll: Lessons from the Bank with the 5IN Sling Shad

Strolling Secrets: Origins and Essence Hailing from Japan’s ultra-pressured waters—including legendary Lake Biwa—strolling emerged as a technique to present minnow-style baits with understated subtlety. Rather than relying on the exaggerated, side-to-side thump of a paddle-tail swimbait, anglers turned to straight-tail plastics, gaining control over their bait’s every move. Utilizing the same jighead rigging as before, […]

Karashi 80 — A Bait With Range

Finding the Sweet Spot — and Knowing When to Push It The Karashi 80 exists in a dimension of its own, unlocked by its smaller predecessor.  Born from a bait-finesse mindset, it refuses to stay confined to ultra-light or ultra-subtle applications. Its real strength reveals itself when you understand where its operational center lives, and when conditions justify pushing outward […]
