Born during the founding era of Megabass, the DOG-X series has built countless legends. Now, the “Great Mother” of the DOG-X series has arrived: a lure that fully embodies the timeless principles and hydromechanics of Megabass founder, Yuki Ito. Honed to a merciless edge in U.S. tournament waters, where it battled alongside Brandon Palaniuk, the DOGMAX is now set to dominate monster fish in global waters.

The DOGMAX’s big, 130 mm body leaps to responsive action with a surprisingly light feel, showcasing a topwater walking magic that is driven by relentless innovation. The Split-Center-of-Gravity Seesaw Balancer System (PAT.) moves laterally to generate powerful, torque-filled turn-in and tail-out action that creates deep water displacement. The Tandem Inertia Balancer System (PAT.) moves linearly to power ultra long-distance slides. The Water-Through Gill (PAT.) thoroughly grips and bites into the water, increasing stability while creating an enticing boil sound. Meanwhile, the internal weights create sonic waves and a hard “knocking” sound with precision impact, boldly appealing even to monsters lurking in deeper zones. Finished with swiveling hook hangars and robust construction, the DOGMAX is engineered to trigger—and dominate—trophy-class targets.
